This 3-ingredient Velveeta Spicy Sausage Dip is a legendary party appetizer. Combining melted cheese, savory pork sausage, and zesty tomatoes, it creates a perfectly smooth and addictive dip for any gathering.

1 pound Velveeta cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes

1 (10 ounce) can Rotel Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilies, undrained

1/2 pound breakfast pork sausage, cooked and drained

Instructions

1. Brown the pork sausage in a skillet over medium heat until no pink remains. Drain the grease thoroughly.

2. Place the cubed Velveeta into a large microwave-safe bowl.

3. Add the undrained can of diced tomatoes and green chilies to the bowl.

4. Stir in the cooked and drained sausage.

5. Microwave on high for 3 minutes.

6. Remove and stir the mixture to help the cheese melt evenly.

7. Microwave for an additional 2 minutes or until the dip is completely smooth and bubbling.

8. Give it a final stir and serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes

Keep the dip in a small slow cooker on the ‘warm’ setting to prevent it from thickening during a party.

For extra heat, use the ‘Hot’ variety of diced tomatoes and chilies.
