8 oz penne pasta
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1½ cups heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated parmesan
2 garlic cloves, minced (optional)
Salt & black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
1. Cook penne pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
3. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds (optional).
4. Pour in heavy cream and stir until it starts to simmer.
5. Gradually add parmesan, whisking until smooth and thickened.
6. Season with salt and pepper.
7. Add cooked penne pasta and toss to coat evenly.
8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Use freshly grated parmesan for best results.
